Dog-friendly room policy

We have dog-friendly rooms, where we offer welcome gifts on arrival to ensure your four-legged friend knows they’re on holiday too, please ensure you let us know if you would like to bring your dog with you.

Please note, we only allow dogs in our spiral suite rooms & to ensure there’s plenty of space for all, we allow a maximum of 2 dogs per room and sometimes a dog friendly room may not be available. A charge of £30 per dog, per night will be applied for dogs staying in the hotel.

To protect the bed linen from potential sandy paws and muddy bellies, we ask dogs to remain off bed linen and other soft furnishings. A penalty will be charged if your dog is allowed on bed linen or in the event of a dog fouling in the room. This covers the replacement and/or cleaning of furnishings.

On the beach

Dogs are welcome off lead between 1 October and 30 April on all West Bay beaches. Dogs are not allowed on East Beach (east of the Pier) or West Beach (west of the Pier) between 1 May and 30 September. There is an additional area of beach which is separated from West Beach by a large rock groyne – there are no restrictions on this beach. Dogs should be on lead at all times around the harbourside and on the esplanade.

There are also plenty of scenic coastal and woodland walks for your dog-walking adventures too.
